Role Overview

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technicians to support our teaching and research programs. The Lab Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining laboratory operations, assisting faculty and students, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and accuracy in diagnostic and research procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting laboratory experiments and diagnostic procedures under the guidance of faculty members.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Prepare and organize laboratory materials, samples, and reagents for experiments and classes.
  • Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of samples to maintain accuracy and safety.
  • Maintain detailed records of laboratory work, including test results and equipment maintenance logs.
  • Adhere to strict safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Support faculty and students during practical sessions and research activities.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
  • Manage inventory and order laboratory supplies as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Educational Background: 10+2 from a recognized education board.
  • Diploma:
    • Diploma in Veterinary Laboratory Technology (DVLT) from LUVAS, Hisar.
    • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) recognized by the Government of Haryana.

Desired Skills

  • Proficiency in handling laboratory instruments and diagnostic equipment.
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and data entry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and staff.
  • Commitment to maintaining accuracy and precision in laboratory work.
