Role Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Event Planner who can blend academic excellence with event management expertise. The ideal candidate will coordinate student events, veterinary conferences, student workshops, animal health camps, and community outreach programs while maintaining the highest standards of professional education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute student events, academic conferences, workshops, and continuing education programs for veterinary students
• Organize animal health camps and community outreach events
• Coordinate with students for sports day, freshers and other college events
• Coordinate with faculty members, visiting professors, and industry experts for educational programs
• Handle budget planning and vendor management for all college events
• Oversee marketing and promotion of educational programs to relevant stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Event Management, Communications, or related field)
• 1-2 years of experience in event management, preferably in educational institutions
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication skills in English and local languages
• Experience in managing budgets and vendor relationships

Desired Skills:

• Understanding of academic/educational event requirements
• Knowledge of veterinary industry trends is a plus
• Experience with virtual and hybrid event platforms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced academic environment
